After already going to Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Tokyo I wanted to explore somewhere new and somewhere with more nature. Me and my friend went on a 3 day trip and we stayed in Nagoya and Takayama! Nagoya is famous for miso so I got to try Miso Udon and they also have a lego amusement park. And then from Nagoya we went to Takayama and we got to walk around and enjoy some good food and see a lot of nature. Riding the shinkansen to Takayama was also an experience itself because you get to ride through mountains and rivers and the views from the windows are breathtaking.

Arriving at Nagoya station for the first time! About an hour and a half from Tokyo by bullet train.

Takayama kind of reminded me of Kyoto just without all the shrines and temples. Surrounded by nature and a lot of shops and restauarants with good food!

This is called a 露天風呂 in Japanese which is an open air bath. It's like an onsen but it's outside and it was actually my first time experiencing it! I was really excited because I haven't experienced it yet and it was cool having a view of the forest and it was night time.
